Full & Fair Reporting

Welcome to The Russell Record

A useful record does more than repeat a headline. It documents what happened, examines the evidence, and provides the context needed to understand the story.

That is the purpose of The Russell Record.

Created and edited by Todd Russell, this project began on Facebook as The Full & Fair Record. This website is its next step: a dedicated home for fact-based articles, thoughtful examination, and a more complete picture of the issues shaping our lives.

The facts. The context.
The record.

The focus begins with public affairs in America and the wider world, with room to explore other subjects that benefit from careful research and clear explanation.

Articles will examine documented actions, competing arguments, measurable results, accomplishments, and legitimate criticism. When the evidence is incomplete or disputed, that should be clear too.

For public figures, the goal is to look beyond the party label and examine the actual record. What has the person done? What changed as a result? What deserves credit, what warrants scrutiny, and what questions remain unanswered?

Fair reporting does not mean giving every claim equal weight. It means weighing claims against the evidence, considering meaningful counterarguments, and distinguishing documented facts from interpretation and opinion.

The purpose is to inform your judgment—not make it for you.

A new home, with Facebook still part of the conversation

This website is starting simply and will grow one article at a time. As it develops, RussellRecord.com will become the central, organized home for the articles—somewhere readers can return to find a story, revisit its sources, or explore a subject further.

The Full & Fair Record Facebook Page will continue sharing articles and updates during the transition. The intention is for that Page eventually to carry The Russell Record name as well. In the meantime, both names represent the same project and editorial approach.

Todd Russell’s personal Facebook profile will also continue to feature selected articles, shorter introductions, and discussion.

Facebook will remain a place to discover the work and join the conversation. The website will give that work a lasting home.

Personally edited.
Open to questions.

The Russell Record is a personal publishing project, not a large newsroom. Todd selects the subjects and provides editorial direction, review, and editing, with AI assistance in research and drafting. Responsibility for what is published remains with the editor.

Questions, substantive disagreement, corrections, and additional evidence are welcome. A useful record should be open to correction and become more complete as reliable information emerges.

Thank you for visiting at the beginning. The aim is straightforward: leave readers better informed, with enough context to reach their own conclusions.
