Houthi Strike Damages Aramco Offices in Saudi Arabia — Conflict Threatens Energy Infrastructure
Regional officials told the Associated Press that a Houthi strike damaged executive offices at Saudi oil giant Aramco's headquarters in Dhahran. No casualties were reported in that specific attack. The Yemen-based, Iran-backed Houthi movement has escalated attacks amid fighting with Saudi-backed forces. Damage to corporate offices does not necessarily mean oil production was interrupted. The attack nevertheless raises new questions about regional security, energy infrastructure and civilian harm on both sides of the conflict.
